Anyone else have a 980Ti HOF with these issues or is it just me? I’d really rather not RMA the card, 76.4% ASIC has me drooling for later when I push the card 2. Same thing with my 2 cards. At 100% fan speed it goes up and down randomly. Lastly, as for XTP, I’ll shoot a PM to Fisher. Goes without saying but +rep For the hyper-boost button, I think you need to check the voltage reading using a multi meter to compare to the one without the black button being depressed.
That’s when you’ll see the difference, I believe. I think the fans are set to adjust on actual load and not on the fan curve you set, if you can try to unplug the fan from the video card and directly plug it into the mobo or fan controller and see if it changes, I’m sure it will. I own a 980ti HOF. I get a valley score of 4000 give or take 50. This is on stock clocks. Although I do use EVGA Precision tuner. This allows me to get clocks of 1440-1540 I have seen registered in valley.

Don’t forget to click on that hyper-boost button and the K boost (If i’m not mistaken - locks your voltage in) option for voltage in Precision and you should be able to push your card some more!
